Miriam holding Karen

This oil on canvas depicts the artist Karen ferguson being held by her Grandmother, Miriam who was Ferguson's Mother's Mother. Ferguson knew and loved her Grandmother who lived into her nineties. This depicts them on Miriams front porch in Whangarei, New Zealand, soon after John had passed away. The house is reflected in the front glass door.
